Helviane Desele won't budge (SPOILERS)

The Quest: Helviane Desele in Desele’s House of Earthly Delights in Suran owes some money. I can't get her to talk to me!!! Even $100 bribe won't get her to give me the money. Help!

Within the sticky thread cleverly labeled "READ BEFORE POSTING" so you might, er, read it, it says, "To ensure that everyone gets the most out of their Morrowind adventuring, please make sure to add "SPOILER" to the name of any new threads that contain information that might spoil someone else's gaming experience."

I had the same problem. Persuasion and bribing didn't work for me. When all else fails, taunt until she attacks you, kill her, then take the money from her corpse. Doesn't seem to effect the outcome.

Before actually completing this quest... you might want to chat with the head of the fighter's guild in Ald Ruhn... (I think his name is Percius)

You must get her to 90+ disposition.
Or just pay the bribe yourself.
