this is really embarassing but in SoA I started watchers keep to buy the potion case right out of Irenicus' home away from home -.- anyway I got the vigil stone to enter the keep but it was taking up room in the inventory so I put it into a chest in Nalia's keep (stronghold) now my party just killed Gromnir in Saradush I go back to the keep and it refuses to allow me entry
any way to cheat the vigil stone back in or go from the ToB map to the SoA map to pick up the vigil stone ?? if I have to cheat it in what's the command ?? thx in advance

really annoying
I understand the feeling - I left the poison head for the flail of ages in a cache of equipment and couldn't go back for it or the other stuff I'd put into safe keeping.
I use Cern's old place in Waukeen for storage, as Nalia's keep always bothers me for the reason you said - you can lose it. I lose a light crossbow of speed plus expensive ammo by leaving it in a chest there once.
However, you could use the save game editor to give yourself the stone - I haven't used it apart from testing things, but it should work. others can tell you how.

To cheat items in:
Open your Baldurs Gate 2 Directory
Before doing anything, make a backup of the file ''baldur.ini''
Open the original file ''baldur.ini''
In this file you'll see a ''[Program Options]'' heading.
Type ''Debug Mode=1'' under Program Options and save.
Start the game. Press Ctrl and Space at the same time. This will bring up a dialogue box where you can type things.
Type the following line: CLUAConsole:CreateItem("PLOT01B").
Note: type it exactly like this (capitals included) or it won't work.

You can also use Shadow Keeper (a search on google should find a place to download this) - this allows you to add/remove items in your inventory with very little fuss and is handy for when you accidentally lose items etc.

Thank you guys very much

you solved the problem (I know you can lose the keep but when I play a warrior I tend to role play it is my stronghold after all)
