NPC's Adventuring

Post by Babytank »

Has anyone seen towns people leave town and do there own adventuring? I saw the shopkeeper of the count arms shop in anvil traveling on the road near Chydinhal, thought that was wierd. I sometimes see dead NPC's on the roads, not bandits but named NPC's. Another time I saw one of my dark brotherhood sisters dead on the road near chydinhal, don't know what happened to her.

Well anyway I was just wondering if anyone else has seen NCP's go out adventuring and getting killed?

I haven't come across any dead named npc's (unless I made them that way) but I have seen a few npc's in towns other than the town in which I originally encountered them, particularly Earana (of Finger of the Mountain Fame) and a couple others in anvil that had imperial city dialogue

When I was dungeon crawing I found Baurus, the emporors bodygaurd and blades member inside. I talked to him but he didn't have anything special to say. Just shows how good the AI is in the game, but it would be interesting to see how many people died adventuring as I progress through the game.

I found an NPC in a cave two or three times. Said he was an advenurer like me or something (like he could tell, I might as well have been a bandit).

There is actually one unique NPC, who wanders almost the entire span of Cyrodil almost randomly. Tracking that person down can be tricky, as he/she is both extremely fast and focused. Who is that person, well I'm not about to spoil it but they did pop up in Morrowind. ;)

Theres also a master trainer out there somewhere, I've located their camp but they rarely seem to be home. Always out hunting game.

There are Legion Rangers or something to that effect, that wander the wilderness, they have saved me from more than few painful deaths.

I have seen a few. Only one in a cave though. Most of them I see in a different city and occationally on the road. I saw a guy fighting a bandit once. He was getting his but kicked. I tried to get there to help out, but I was too late. The bandit killed him and I had never talked to the guy before. I avenged him like any knight-errant would do though :D .

Out of all the NPC I see her the most all around Cyrodiil.
I think I've seen her in 2 different cities other than Cheydinhal, on different roads, but I see her mostly in Leyawiin. She is there every other time I make the trek there. I've only seen her in the db hideout twice. I always make it a point to speak with her if I see her.
Shame she had to go and die on you.

Sneaking with her? that might be interesting. I've recently created a new character so she is up and running again, so I'll try following her this time.
