I'm getting so sick of Chuck Norris jokes. They infest most every webforum I've seen the latter year or so and it is getting so old and overposted that it is annoying.

It is not that bad. I believe this kind of things happen every now and then, just like word association kind of games.

Anyway, I like the page, but I have seen that before :D

No, just walking away, as quickly as possible.

It's relatively normal for a joke to get hammered to the ground on the internet, but for some reason Chuck Norris jokes have gotten continuously beaten like the dead horse that they are for what appears to be over an year now long after they've ceased being even remotely funny.

It wasn't particularly funny when it was Vin Diesel, and it's only gotten less so as no one seems to give it a rest. I'm so glad I'm not alone in this.

On a sadder note, I saw an overweight, balding, middle-aged man with a Facts about Chuck Norris t-shirt on the train a week or so ago. I don't think I'll forgive humanity for this one.

edit: I have to mention that your thread title is quite funny in its unintentional irony :)

I would personally like to see hunting permits issued against all people who use "mother-in-law jokes," a generic term in English for humor always aimed at obvious subjects. So any jokes aobut tree-huggers in our right-wing US world would cause the humorist to be rammed repeatedly into a tree until their head exploded--or, I suppose, the tree, which wouldn't be fair to the latter. And if anyone made Cruise gay jokes, they could tied and mailed to the local mailbox of the Castro District in San Francisco. Anti-Chirac jokes? Force the person who uttered them to sit through a meeting with the French leader.

I'm sick of it, and I WANT ACTION!! ;)

But if I'm not bitter about clichéd humor, then who will

I find Chuck Norris annoying myself, but hey, nobody was forcing me to click on the link or read this thread ;)

Sorry but I'm quite partial to the odd Chuck Norris joke. The concepts they throw up of Chuck Norris doing certain things still makes me chuckle.

Yes, they were. It's subliminal. You simply weren't aware on a conscious level. Buck put it in as part of the new design code, and the thing's still being tested.

If you suddenly discover one night after reading posts that you've got your slippers on your head and paper towels taped to your feet, don't panic. Just realize that Buck is doing his part to help save the world. :)

@Fable,
ROFL! :D

Maybe Buck's subliminal workings of the site explain all kinds of odd behaviour I've been aware of since joining here :p

Yeah, I just about quit World of Warcraft because that (namely the Stormreaver server) seemed to be a breeding ground for Chuck Norrisitis. In fact, all the celebrity jokes (Norris, Vin Deisel, etc.) SHOULD ALL STOP FOR GOOD.

Count me in for the irritation club.

Unfortunately a strain of this plague broke out in my school in February, it is stll ravaging the student body. I caught rare case of it, however after one hour I was cured, now I just have a nauseous reaction whenever I go near one.

I'm sure everyone on my MSN contact list remembers my old screen name.

"If I see one more O RLY owl I will seriously shove it up their ass", or something to that line. To which Fiberfar immediately responded with...

"O RLY?"

This has become much more of an annoyance lately, especially with all the variations now... there's a thread elsewhere that recently went into the thousands...
