hey ive just bought fable and ive been playing it for 8 hours so far and i just arrived at the quest to find the archeologist, and im suddenly 40 years old? well it seem a bit rash but is this normal im i reall that close to completeing the game?? or is this some kind of glitch

Well kinda, and kinda not.

Here's the deal about aging in the game.

Everytime you buy a skill from the heros guild you age .7 years. So thus if you buy 10 skills, you age 7 years. And you slowly age over time, tho i dont know how fast. But dont you fret, you cant die of old age you stop aging at age 65 i think.

But there are tricks to bring down your age which you can easily find by using the forum search for "Temple of Avo"
