I put 18/23 in strength, dex, con, and int Wisdom and charisma under 15. I though dex was minimum 17 to dual my kensai to a thief? Wasted my best roll ever!

Don't thieves have to have some kind of "neutral" in their alignment? What is your alignment?

Thanx for the response! Yes he is human and lawful good. I went ahead and dualed him to the only option available to me, a kensai mage. I saved it cuz he will rule, but I just finished SOA & TOB with a Kensai/Mage. :o

OOPS, my bad, a lawful good thief would go hungry and have a guilt complex. I wanted the good familiar after my use anything ability became active! Sorry and thanx again!

Hey, btw what's the best HP makin' familiar for a thief. How many HP does the cat get?

The cat have 24 HP, so your character will get an additional 12.

My bad, not sure why I thought thieves had to be "neutral something" or "something neutral". Still, glad we solved the mystery.

That's Bards (in some version of D&D rules, at least).

Well familiars in ToB have 48 HPs, so you will get 24 extra hit points... (dont recall any "use any item" ability in SoA)
