NPC has -12 HP, can't resurrect

In an encounter with Bohdi, Nalia died and went to -12 HP. Now, neither Harper's Call nor a temple's resurrection work on her. I tried to "heal" her to 0 HP, but that doesn't have any effect, either. Does anyone know how to revive her?

Thanks!

Sorry, its actually Arie that's at -12 HP, not Nalia. It probably doesn't matter, but I didn't want to confuse this issue with the romance thing.

normally as far as I can tell. I was fighting vampires, so I am sure they had level-drained her. Perhaps she was level-drained "after" she died or something. I didn't inspect the battle text that closely. After the battle, I tried to use Harper's Call to no effect, so I went to a temple and tried both Raise Dead and Resurrection, again to no effect. I tried restoration and all healing spells to no effect. Any ideas?

mm it could be your charachter has ben level drained too -1 in that case ressurection would be impossible I think
if that's possible at least :P

so try to get her back to her normal level then resurect her that might do the trick theoraticly :D

Or use shadowkeeper to get her hitpoints to 0 (or level to 1) then try resurrecting her.

I thought that Elves could not be resurrected.

Wow, Shadowkeeper is the shiz-nit! First time using it, and what an excellent tool! I was able to reset Arie to 0 HP, then resurrect her. Kudos to whomever made that tool!

in this game

in 'normal' level anybody can be brought back providing that they still have the greyed-out portrait - if a character gets turned to stone and then damaged, they and their kit are permanently lost - if just turned to stone, no problem, turn them back to flesh and speak to them - but if they have exploded like a plate-glass window, they have gone. finito.

the rod is handy - and may work even on 'core' rules.

Boo is too young

to get vengeance.

Imagine if by accident, you stone-formed Minsc and then inadvertently hit him shattering him. - you'd spend the rest of the game looking over your shoulder in case Boo tried to bite you in hard to reach places...

By Uncle Spanky's Thumb!

...is what Jan said in a fight in the Bridge District and Minsc got petrified (how I don't know...was fighting that guy in the stupid red suit and his buddies... I think it was a certain trapped door near by). Minsc was turned to stone and exploded when one of those baddies hit him next thing happens, Jan gets a critical fumble at almost the exact same time...."By Uncle Spanky's thumb"! The timing of some of the lines in this game is amazing.
