If you want to give armor & weapons to your fellow companions, you can drop the stuff.
What about gold?

I played some multiplayer games with my friends but i don't think gold can be shared or droped

buy them stuff to sell - buy - drop - they sell it.
most of the time I get more gold from selling things than it cost to rebuy it even 1.4
