I just saw this add on the top of the screen, file attached below of the screenshot of the top of the page. I copied and pasted the link as well.

Now, the "Pittsford" area thing makes me think it is something targeted specifically to my IP address, as it is a town in my county. However, I had to wonder, is anyone else seeing something like this for their area?
Given the fact that Xanax is used heavily in various parts of the country as a drug to crush, snort and get high with, I am curious as to whether Buck could have this removed? I find it to be dangerous to have that kind of ad up for teens to see personally, as one of my ex's got herself into a lot of trouble with using the stuff a few years back.

I have never seen that ad.... Though I wouldn't say that the ads I do get are localised...

Yeah...disregarding my own personal disgust for prescription drugs...that ad is bad news considering the fact it is a replacement for many "party kids" who are getting speed instead of ecstasy nowadays when they go looking for party drugs. Granted, I'm not the sites most morally structured member, but that ad really shouldn't be around for people who don't know how dangerous it is to access.

Never seen anything like it...
To be completely off-topic, did anyone initially see the topic name as "Ads selling Xandax online?"?

Yeah, I thought it said Xandax too.
(On-topic) Nope, never seen that either. Very illegal, though, if you ask me.

Good to know it wasn't just me...
I was beginning to wonder if Xandax had volunteered to make extra money for Game Banshee
Um.. *cough* Yes I agree.. dangerous drugs like this probably should not be advertised here..especially given that many teens are inclined towards gaming.

I see adds for my area all the time, mostly adds to get hot dates so that I wont be lonely, or adds to help make desperate women happy, those too are a little inapprpriate in my mind, not illegal, but inappropriate.
I think Buck has said before that he has little power over the ads that show up, as they are placed there by an independent source.
Spam:
Selling Xandax? Ewww... Thats just gross. Are they selling him, pieces of him, his services? What!? I have a uh.... friend... who uh... needs some help... with his uh.... computer...

As much money as GB could actually earn by selling me online, then lets try to keep this thread on topic and limit the off-topics or take it to SYM

You still seeing those ads? I don't think I've seen Xandax for a while. :speech:
Oke, joke aside, I consider asking whether the ads are still there relevant to the topic.
I was also just trying to change the last post from an advertiser thread which was deleted and the user banned but still displaying as the last post with a website in the title.
