Mission's side quest

Hi i have a problem. I have played through KotOR twice, but now I have finally found Mission's side quest for the first time. I talked to Lena and went to Tatooine to the Sand People Enclave. After talking to the chieftain, HK said that Griff would be a captive of the Sand People and that I could take Griff if i wanted (it seems he's useless to them), but when I'm looking for Griff i can't find him. The 'captives'-part of the camp is empty (accept for someone's remains). Can anyone tell me where Griff is?
BTW i'm level 19 and i'm ready to go to the Star Forge system.

Spoiler information, so highlight below:
Did you negotiate with the Tusken Raider leader? Finish his quest first then you are allowed to release the captives including Griff as well.

Hey it's starting to make sense now! I have already freed the Jawa's, so perhaps if you have done that, you can free no more captives. Could that be it?

I remembered that I managed to free both Griff and the Jawas. And that's after I did the Tusken Raider leader's quest. I don't know how its possible that you cannot find Griff. Very odd:speech: .

Yaeh well if i can't find a way to even locate Griff, I think i'll just head for the Unknown World system Heh it seems some of my characters end up having no interesting things to say. For example: I accidentally killed Dustil in the academy because i couldn't find the datapad that should turn Dustil to the light, even though i checked Uthar's room over and over again. Now when i speak to Carth all i hear, is when we are going to the academy to find Dustil. Thanx for looking at it though.

By posting enough. Barring posts that get deleted for being intended to do nothing but increase one's post count. It's just a very small number, in any case, and means nothing.
