Turning a Blind Eye-Thieves Guild (Spoiler)

Hey, i need help. Ok, I don't know if this has affected my file or not...but before i ever met The Gray Fox, i found some guy and knocked him unconsious....and So i went into sneak and while he was getting up i stole from him, and stole Boots of Springheel Jak, and then it added that quest....My Fence is already around 2000 gold...and I go and Mithredrel has already met me and told me what to do, but on the Indepedant Thievery it does not say anything about her meeting me and telling me what to do.... It still says Congratulations you have fenced 600 gold, you can wait in a city for a messenger from The Gray Fox, so i did and I waited in the Imperial city and Mithridel has spoken to me....( I killed the Orrin guy...He is the Fence in Anvil, i got bored and stole the stuff in the castle at the weapons shop in the castle, and he started attacking me. So i killed him... :laugh: ) I went to the house she told me, but since i had already stolen the Springheel Jak boots he showed up in Cheydinhal, ( that is where he is when you start the Springheel Jak Boots quest) and so i went there, he gave me the quest Turning the Blind eye, I did everything I was supposed to and it says the last message it is suppose to say.


The Gray Fox has rewarded me for my efforts. He was fairly mysterious about why he needed the stone. He asked me to be available for when he next calls for me.

That's what it says rite there....so, I'm stuck here....It says quest not completed.....So i went back to the monestary and I got those notes i was supposed to out of the box to the left of the exit of the well, and talked to the gray fox about it...when i got out. i went into the Monks quarters place ( by the well) and talked to one of the guy and now it says,

The Monks of Ancestor Moths have read the Elder Scrolls,
Apparently this makes them blind, When the retire they are sent
to and underground temple, the are Masters in the Dark.

And now i'm really stuck, What am i supposed to do now? I have already gotten the Stone he needs and devliverd it....

Wolf Carmen, please don't bump your thread--much less, after only 3 minutes. Even up on the ES boards, questions often go unaswered for hours, and we're not quite as large. On the other hand, your thread isn't likely to scroll off the first page for at least a day, which is good news.

So let it hang around, and check back in a couple of hours. I know it means not playing that particular quest for a while, but take up a different one, or just try a random dungeon and gather some gold for yourself, for a bit. Then check back.

have you fenced for 700? if you have then with in bruma or in the imperial city for 24 h then amusei should show up telling you that the grey fox want to speak with you, this will start the arrow of extrication quest... you should really look at the quest walkthrough http://www.gamebanshee.com/oblivion/wal ... cation.php

Yes, but, it doesn't say i have...i've fenced over 2000 stuff in items....

okey so it doesnt say that you have fenced the 700 but you have sold stolen goods for over 2000 right? well then look at this:

i do believe you have the exact same problem hope it works, cuz i dont know lot about it, but sure wanna help you.
