Korgan just reached level 11 and when I leveled him up he only received 3 hit points.

Checking the manual it says that his hit dice are 9+6, which would indicate a minimum of 15 points (not counting the +5 for his 19 Con.) and a max of 96 points.

Am I reading things wrong or misunderstanding something? Or to put it another way, can anyone explain why he only got 3 HP's?

Every fighter gets 3 HP/level up when he reaches level 10 and higher. No con bonus and d10 roll any more.
level 9: 9d10
level10: 9d10+3
level11: 9d10+6
...
