Viconia / Jaheira Bug - Help?

I was in Trademeet when Viconia started up a relationship dialogue. Jaheira butted in and said something about warning the protagonist about snakes and blah blah blah. I had the protagonist tell her to let him do whatever he wanted, and continued the dialogue. When I got out of the dialogue, Jaheira and Viconia were both in combat stances, and their green reticles at their feet were acting wierd. I'd try to move, but they would only move a step or two. A few interesting things.

1.) If I kill Jaheira, Viconia will come out of combat and move normally. If I res Jaheira, Viconia and Jaheira both go back into combat.
2.) The same applies if I kill Viconia.
3.) I read somewhere else that someone got this same exact bug at the same exact time (trigger: dialogue, nasty trade off between the two). Noone had any idea what to do.

Things that you should probably know:

1.) I'm using The Darkest Day, so I wasn't able to install Baldurdash.
2.) I am not using the multiple romance cheat.

Can anyone help me out here? Any ideas?

Are you fully patched?
