Not sure what to make of this, so I am posting here. I start this section, and everything seems fine until I notice that Atton and Kreia have not moved in this section at all. When I go in the force field detention room, two of the cells are empty (presumably because Atton and Kreia stay where they are) and Bao-Dur is in one but is passed out. The fields are still on and I don't know where the release is. When I approach Atton (at the point of entry on this level from which he has not moved), it comes up with these two options:

(Cheat Node) Jump to PC confrontation with Atris
(Cheat Node) Continue Kreia conversation

When I approach Kreia and click on her, it pushes my viewpont over a little and nothing happens. Even if I have finished everything in the level and try to leave, it tells me I can't leave without my companions but I obviously can't do anything with my companions because the program won't let me. I have played this game before months ago but didn't seem to have this kind of problem, that I recall anyway.

To my knowledge, I have not enabled any type of cheats. I have updated the game with all the patches...I did this months ago but cannot recall if it was before or after I stopped playing it. Helps, hints, suggestions?

Nevermind, I found the solution.

I have the exact same prob and i have played through kotor II twice b4 and i dont remember having this prob...what did you do to fix it...this is starting to get on my nerves.thnx

The problem was fixed when I went to Obsidian's website and cliked on the patch link...not the one for upgraded media but there is a patch to fix a lot of problems including the one I posted about. For some reason the updater on the start menu didn't indicate that I needed this patch. Works like a charm now.

Ok so im playin thru kotor2 for the 4th time and ihave all the patches and all the newest things from the obisidan site and lucas arts, but the thing on telos wer atton and kreia dont go in their cell is still happenin and the patch said it fixes it, well it didnt for me so wat do i do if the patch wont work ?

There's not a lot you can do except first check you installed the patch correctly. If so then contact the makers of the patch and let them know that it doesn't work and then just do that part the same way you did it before you installed the patch.
