I had a fight in the guarded compound( Celestial fury place) and something odd must have happened because when I went back to town to sell stuff, that nice Mr Ribald offered me approx 24 million for "Daystar" and 24 million for Arkane( anti-hold short sword) Sword. Soooo..I sold them..and got all my team absolutely p@#$ed to celebrate. They can't be bothered doing anymore quests.they're just gonna buy an island off sword coast and hold full moon parties. Seriously though how the hell did this happen, will my game crash and is this cheating?

I had the same thing happen to me. I sold some items in the Adventurers Mart - although I can't remember what the items were - and ended up with about 3 million.
I immediately bought my items back and legged it before the shopkeep realised his mistake.
The game played through to the end with no problems, and it made my life easier.
It's not cheating - I did nothing wrong and it wasn't my mistake was it?

Download the newest patch....It's a bug with one of the creatures ....instead of draining the magic, it causes this.
And some will call this cheating..

Personally, I don't think it's cheating because it's not my fault and I did't do it intentionally. It's probably cheesy in that I accepted the money and didn't say to myself" Wait a minute, you shouldn't accept 49 million gold from a Fighter/Mage who happened to be on drugs that day."

Cheese it is. It takes advantage of a bug in the system.

It's your game to play however you chose. I'm just telling you the makers of the game have released a patch to fix this....They consider it a BUG.

I must admit it doesn't feel right looking at my screen with 49,613,807 gold written on it!! Feels like I've got a Kensai/Mage in my team.

I will look, but I don't believe they made a patch for a Kensai/Mage.
