Garridon's Tears quest

I have completed the quest -- or thought I have -- by finding 4 of Garridon's tears in the glade outside Frostfire Cave to take back to S'Drassa. I returned to S'Drassa but he won't pay me for the 4 tears I have returned with. Are there more tears that I need to find to complete the quest? If so, are they not just laying on the ground? Or is there some other step I've missed? Thanks!

Actually, you need to find five of them. There are five so just keep looking.

As you've been told you need five - and you need SPOILERS in your title!
SPOILERS highlight to read:
Yes, four are on the ground, but you need to get up on that central part, across that boulder, and there'll be the fifth one, on the top.

You fought the Frost A right? Well look down, they are really tiny but rather nicely spaced out, in that white circle. yes, white on white but still, 4 on the ground, one up there and very small.

hmmmm I guess I am gonna look again. now this might be a return to a problem like the Forlorn watchman one I have. this quest is the oldest open quest in my game, and I long ago killed the big ice dude, but he seems to respawn when I go back....I hope I didnt miss my only chance at these d*** things. Would night eye make em more pronounced?

Probably not. This is one of those sad times when your PC has to crouch and wander around like an idiot, staring fixedly at the ground. Que Sera Sera.

I believe there's a glitch in this quest where (highlight)
the 5th tear doesn't spawn on top of the "pillar" but inside, being unreachable
.

Did you look on top? It is not on the ground but in the middle on top of that well, what ever it is. You climb it using that tree/log by walking over it and there's the frozen guy, and the tear is there too.

Yup, did it many times.I even set the video settings lower maybe it would help, but no, i couldnt find it anywhere.Maybe I also have that bug mentioned before, that it is not on the top of the iceblock but IN the iceblock. Wouldn't be funny...

The first time through this I had some trouble finding all five, too. I looked, and looked, and LOOKED around on that top area and it WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Period!
So, I started again from the saved game I had prior to entering the area. The first time in, I fought that Storm A with cast spells and such. What I discovered was that my cast spells were causing the tears to bounce all over the place. When I entered this second time, I decided to simply avoid him until AFTER I had gotten all 5 tears. That one up on top WAS THERE this time.
So, it's quite possible that these things are getting tossed around during the battles to places where you cannot find them.
