Starting my server

Im starting a server to play CE 1.5. Iv opened the port 2606 or whatever. So now it shows up on the server list but people cant connect? What other ports are there? And if anyone wants to play MY AIM is nickcky03 and my email is shaconbacon@gmail.com.
