Query: How can I easily kill the hssiss on light side?

Answer: Hissis are difficult beasts to slay, but if you activate any shields or Force powers before hand that will protect yourself, then go in, raise your weapon and slaughter the beast!

Problem: My shield was done in seconds.
Query: Are there any good shields that can withstand alot?

Answer: I recommend you try investing Force points to Force Protection.
Statement: Force Protection works alot more better than any of those military shields.

Statement: I would suggest you stay out of a fight with a Hssiss until your Force Points have recovered.

I'll play along here as well.
Answer: Try using either the Verpine Prototype Shield or the Echani Dueling shield. They're one of the best shields in the game and quite durable especially in tough situations.

Wow, this is creepy.... 2 droids discussing killing hissis
Anyway, I usually use the force lighting because it attacks all enemy's, not just a single one. About 4 cracks & the room is down enough to where a single saber wack will wipe them out one at a time.
On a side note, you can spawn multiple hissis each battle. Every jiggle of the jedi gets 2 hissis. So I usually jingle him about 10 times. That gets 20 hissis attacking for 6,000 XP when the fight is over. Then a long wait to rebuild health & FP then do it again. I have jumped 10-20 levels this way.
And to regenerate force points as a light-sider, I toss on a jedi robe that regenerates force points for you. Also, after the fight I switch the fighting style to the force protection one. That also regenerates points for you. I believe there is eyewear that regenerates FP as well.

Statement: Lightning does work well against Hssis, but do not forget Walter HK-64 did say he was a Jedi. And I remember right Lightning isn't usually in a Jedi's arsonal.

Please be more polite when addressing someone, HK-64.
About that force point not regenerating, it could be a glitch. Try reloading your last save or get the latest patch for the game. Maybe you could PM Walterd140. He knows more about this than me.

No Des, HK is correct. Entering the tomb as a light sider & you do not regenerate force points. One of the 'conditions' of the tomb. I believe the point is to show you DS is more powerful, but just my opinion.
Force lighting is a DS power, but you can get any power in the game. It just costs more to use opposite alignment powers (unless your carisma is high)
Anyway, as I said before, arm yourself with a jedi robe that will regenerate FP for you. I also found a crystal for your saber that generates points. And there is force visor that generates too, but any alterations to gear has to be done before entering because you go in alone.

Alternatively, you get an item that boosts wisdom, and take it on and off. This will cause your FP to increase each time.
And HK-64, stop being so snappish. You posted here to ask a question, which everyone here tried to help with. This question has been asked HEAPS of times already. If you want to know something, use the SEARCH function first. Do that, and relax a bit more and you'll fit in here just fine.

Oops. My bad. I probably forgot all about it. I didn't do the Hssiss bug so I apologise for my erroneous statement in my previous post. Just breezed through the level without consideration and using only Force Wave for most of the enemies encountered:laugh: .

When I played light side, I just used shields and ran to one side of the room, near a pillar, so only one hssiss (unless one of them happens to be smart, which is hardly ever) can attack at a time. Also, did anyone else notice that if one doesn't attack you right away, it wanders down the hallway? I had to chase a bunch of them down.

Irritated Statement: Yes, I too have had the same problem. Have some Hssiss jump out, attack, miss and then run off. It really is annoying having to hunt the damned beast down.
Ammused Statement: But does give you a bigger sense of satisfation when you finally catch it and blast it through the chest.

Hey Greg, I have tried removing & rearming wisdom enhancing items only to have my FP go to the used level. By this say I have 800 total. Fight hissis & use 400. Now I have 400 out of 800. I remove wisdom items & my total drops to say 600. So now I have 400 out of 600. Rearm wisdom items & I am back to 400 out of 800. Am I missing something?
