That looks around the same as Oblivion...
I wasn't aware NWN2 was going to be so high-spec.

Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework for toolset (included)
And they've succumbed to evil too apparently... :p ;)

@Fibey, bearing in mind I can run Oblivion with a 2GHz CPU, 1.5GB RAM and an Nvidia FX5700...NWN will probably have options to let it run on equally 'outdated' machines too...

Are you sure those are the real system requirements? I did do some scouting on different gaming sites for Neverwinter Nights 2 a month back and none of them have any exact detail as to what the system requirements will turn out to be (checked it out today and still no news about it). However, Feargus Uqurhart did confirm that Neverwinter Nights 2 require a Gefore 6 series or ATI X series cards on minimum to run it.

Luckily my card is a Geforce 6 series variant but I doubt that I will try this game out as I didn't really like Neverwinter Nights that much when I played it at my friend's house a while back.

Those are from the official forums but they are not the official specs :) The fact they are off the forums does mean they are probably not 100% accurate but they are more than likely pretty close to what the actual specs will be.

Anyway, I never trusted forums when it comes to specifying something. :p As far as I know, most of the system requirements stated in the forums could be speculation. I probably think that it will be lower than what you stated previously since Neverwinter Nights 2 graphics isn't on par with Oblivion's.

There's a place where you can test your comp. with the requirements, but as it states they're not yet final requirements.

That place is pretty much worthless, no offense.

We had a link for this before TES4 Oblivion came out, and i tested my computer about 6 times getting 6 different answers, 3 times normal, 3 times right after a system restore and everything being cleaned.

You're right, Siberys. That tool is not really that accurate at determining whether or not that game can run on your system. Might as well just wait for the official statement from Obsidian Entertainment about the system requirements.

NWN 2 for Apple Computer?

Will NWN 2 be out for Apple? Anyone think that it will eventually be out on Apple Platform? I personally think it should, give people who do have that platform a chance to play those games. I can name a dozen games I would buy (including expansions) if they were avaliable on Apple Computer (the platform I have). Besides in my opinion if they just stick to a single platform such as only Windows or only PC, and exclude the other platforms they might make less money, since I bet that I am not the only Apple-user who wants to buy this game but can't because it is only on Windows. Feel free to give your opinions on this. :D

Ehh, prolly not. Macintosh/apple's aren't really built for gaming, so I doubt it.

Plus, is there enough players on these platforms so that the conversation would be worth of it? We must remember that the developers are, after all, doing this for money, and they think that something doesn't give enough profit to be worth of it, they won't make it...

I just bought a new computer, just to be able to run NWN2 and Titanquest.

Cooler Master Mystique 631,
- NorthQ 4001EXT, Silent ATX 400W, 140mm Fan, 12-17dBA, 2xSATA, PCI-E, 20/24pin
- AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0GHz Socket AM2, 512KB, BOXED
- Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 1024MB 128Meg x 64, CL5, 667MHz, 240-pin
- MSI K9N NEO-F nF-550, S-AM2, DDR2, PCI-E
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
- XFX GeForce 7600GS 256MB DDRII, PCI-Express, 2xDVI/HDTV, 400/700Mhz>
325546 - NEC DVD AD-5170 IDE OEM DVD+R/+RW/DVD-R/-RW (Dual layer)

Think this could run NWN2 or should i return my computer :)

Your computer should be more than enough to run Neverwinter Nights 2, judging by what little I know of the requirements Feargus Urquhart mentioned in an early report relating to Neverwinter Nights 2 development. Hope the confirmed specs will be released soon. :)

Better be, because the game is due out in about a week. Assuming there are no delays. It's already out in Europe, but I have no idea how the system requirements are playing out.

Has anyone bought the European version? If so, can they list the system requirements. None of the online places where I can buy it list them and I'm not prepared to fork out loads of money for it unless I know I can actually run it.

Not yet. Can't see it is released in Denmark yet. But I have it preordered as a webshop, so once I get it and get it tested I'll let people know.
