In my last game on Oblivion, I got through this quest, but now I can't remember how I did it.

In Bruma, there's that dude who got killed by Raynil Dralas, the supposed Vampire Hunter. The guard inside apparently can tell me more, but he said I either have to be a guard, or be Raynil Dralas.

I can't find Raynil about, and I can't remember how to do the quest, and my disposition is maxed with the guard, so I can't bribe him anymore.

Anyone know how to sort out my little problem?

Well, can't remember the exact order of things.

But you might be able to talk to the Inn owner, and he should be able to tell you that the vampire hunter has a room in the inn.

And in that room you are able to find a diary of the Vampire Hunter that should be able to lead you further in the quest.

Hmm..you only have to get the guards disposition to 70 to talk. Alot of times you can only get the persons disosition up so far untill you can play the minigame any more. then the only way to get their dispotion up higher is to bribe them with gold.
