Okay.... everything was going fine with my game until chapter 6, i went to bohdi's lair for the final confrontation and killed every single vampire, but the door there refuses to believe i have killed them all and isn't opening..... I have thoroughly searched the entire area for more vamps but to no avail.... And the real problem is that my last save (that i didn't overwite) was before the underdark So any suggestions as to how i can get on with the plot would be most appreciated!

If you have done all of the stuff indicated then there are some other solutions that will definitely assist. Which 'door' wont open? - Curdis !

There aren't any doors that don't open til all the vamps are dead are there? Just head through the door next to the corridor that leads to the spike room and you will find Bodhi. Just kill her, stake her coffin and grab all the loot.

Did you stake the coffins? There are some coffins in the southwest of the Lair. Your mouse pointer will change into a sword if you hover over it. If your character stands close you can stake the vampires.

Which door though - the one leading to Bodhi or another one?

All I can suggest is that you check every coffin in case you forgot to stake one. Also, have you cleared out the spike trap room?

yes to both of those. Ah well back to the UD i go!

Did you purify the blood bath with elven water?

What no autosave?

Anyway, I didn't manage to kill all of the vamps (for some reason one escaped as a bat right out into the Graveyard district somehow), but I still got down the doorway OK; so it's not to do with that.
