Durlag's Tower *Spoilers*

I teleported out of the 4 level of the dungeon to identify and sell my stuff (I'm playing solo so I don't have any excess space in the inventory)and now I can't get back to level 4.:speech:
Is there a way to get back to level 4 without going through all the 3 levels, coz I can't get past level 2 because the doors won't open in the throne room as I've previously killed the apparition which opened the door.
By the way do I need to keep all the ward stones with me? they're taking a lot of room.
