so, i'm soloing my way through the underdark, and my guy becomes fatigued so i let him rest...he woke up 39 DAYS later. he better not have to rest again for the rest of the game. just thought i'd share, i thought it was amusing.

It sounds to me like you have the "rest until healed" activated, and you do not have any healing spells. Am I right?

Afaik, the "rest until healed" option does NOT included Bhaal-granted healing spells. Can somebody confirm this, please?

A question related to this topic:
When I started to play BG2, I used a standard party. With "rest until healed" I usually rested 8 hours (as long as nobody was hurt too much).
Then I started to experiment with my own party. I had a cleric in it and I usually rested 16 hours, even if I bought royal bedroom in an inn and nobody was hurt at all.
Later on I found the trick with ranger/cleric. The usual resting time shrank to 8 hours again.
Let us note that Jaheira is a druid and that the ranger/cleric is a druid in some sense, too.
.
Q: Does a druid or a ranger in the party affect the resting time?

I believe that it is something like the chain isn't stronger than the weakest link. just one will effect the rest of the party.
please correct me if I am wrong.

actually my character, JoJo the Stinky, was fully healed when i rested, i just rested because he was fatigued and i was sick of hearign him gripe about it. but yes i do have it set to rest until healed, but he was healed before we rested.
