SPOILER: Do you get a save versus acid or something against an Ankheg's acid attack?

I would like to have an answer ASAP please.:speech:

I just found out that there is a save vs. death for Ankheg acid. I think that it's a life-saver since my lvl 5 or 6 char has AC -3 with dex of 17 or 18! (A tad bit of armor was Gatekeepered )

I believe its considered a save verse Breath Weapon
But that is just to hit you.
Any resistance to acid would then be figured in on the damage after you failed the save.

Remember Dwarves and Gnomes Get the best saves. Also the Paladin class gets very good saving roles.
