Where would you live?

Given the choice, on the Sword Coast(or anywhere from the game)?
Trademeet? Where the townsfolk worship you and erect statues in your honor?
Hell?

I´d like to settle down in a nice cozy hut with Jaheira...doesn´t really matter where...though she promised me she would take me down south.

I'd choose the Planar Sphere. It's on the coast so you get the nice sea breeze, got a bunch of apprentices running the operation, get instant access to any plane you want...want to go out and party and raise hell with a couple of friends stop off and pick up some Pit Fiends to cause trouble with (think of a guy in a bar/inn/tavern giving you some trouble, and one of the Pit Fiends walks over "he's with me")

In the pits of Hell with my father Bhaal. Causing all kinds of evil on you flesh things.

Chilling in the Underdark, with all my newly-converted Drow buddies... Switched over from one CE Goddess to another, formerly unknown in this sphere, CE Goddess... You see, Hecate is quite upset with the holder of the Magic Goddess portfolio in Realmspace, and intends to take it for herself. Little miss goody-goody Midnight/Mystra cares too much about the little flesh things, and too little about the true LIFE of the multiverse, MAGIC!

I want to be the stuff of legends, being an uber-powerful hero (well, I don't even have to be that powerful, just well-known for all my deeds) residing in a place where no one would expect to look for me. But then, I want to be looked for, even. I want to be something like Elminster, although I don't want to be as gold-like as he is, since there's no fun in sure-wins. You know, something like this:

A: We haven't the resources to launch such an attack.

B: Hire some bounty hunters?

A: How can we trust them with such a delicate (i.e. rescue, escort, etc.) task?

B: Seek out the great <me>, then?

A: Send someone to try it. For now, let's keep on thinking.

But see, the Harper Hideout is a bit too obvious and extravagant for my tastes, so perhaps I'll hang out in a small room in the Slums District somewhere. Or maybe the docks, for the sea's convenience? Or I could go into the forest, learning to fare the environment. Then, after, some decades, it could be a question of whether or not I'm even alive! I could be in semi-spooky stories, too! Ahahahahahahaha...

Just some thoughts...

I'd go and flush out the sunken house I got in BG1 (near Beregost) and settle down with Jaheira. Ahhhhhh!

Gruntboy I don't really see how you could settle down with Jaheira...She's already mine...Taking it easy in our little place and going out for an adventure now and then....

Now, now, there's plenty of J for everyone. Image

Good point though - just how many people are roleplaying exactly the same thing? No offense to all you Drow-lovers but there are already 2 on the surfacce (Drizzt and Viconia). If all you lot were up here, there'd be no bloomin' underdark...

And I'm *not* telling you how to run your fantasies, just attempting to draw some fire... Image

Don't even know why some people bother with Viconia or Aerie??? Gruntboy you've got good taste when it comes to BGII....okay so she doesn't have the highest intelligence.....but damn is she pretty!!!

I know what you mean. I can see the allure.

Aerie - Naive elfy and you get to pop her cherry. Doesn't last (good thing).

Viconia - Mean b*itch (great!). Allure of the forbidden and unknown. Lots of whips in Menzowhateverban. Doesn't las (good thin).

Jaheira - sexiest, hardest to get. Damn its frustrating but its also the most rewarding. Longest lasting too (if you're into commitment...) Image
