I used the search engine but I wasn't able to find an answer so i'm opening a new thread with my question.

After the Final Battle with Jack of Blades i red in the walkthrough i'll be supposed to choose if wear or destroy Jack's mask. I didn't really have any choice! The Hero automatically wears the mask..
I started to believe that the choice was influenced by the evil alignment of my character so i changed it before the final battle but without results.

Is this a glitch, a bug or am i just doing something wrong ?

Eh? You're saying that the option to click on the left mouse button to throw away the mask didn't appear? My character was all the way good and I had that option and furthermore, managed to throw away that mask. I remember reading somewhere that even though you're evil, you will be presented with that option too.

Maybe you should reload a previous save to see whether if it happens again. If it does, then I can't really be of much help here.

DesR85 is right, no matter what your alignment you get the option to left click to throw away the mask. You will hear Jack telling you to throw it away and the power of the Mask telling you to wear it. If you wait a while without clicking the mouse then you put it on. Try left clicking during the cutscene and see what happens.

The 6th time, eventually, the option appeard ! I don't understand why sometimes the dialogs or the options do not appear on the screen...
for example --> the houses: i often must buy them without knowing their price for the same problem...

this time i wasn't able to see (and i've got no sight problems ;) ) the "left-click on the mouse to throw away the mask" and, as MrSir said if you wait a while without clicking the mouse then you put it on...

probably a video card uncompatibility?
i have an NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache
and i've tried to change the settings from the min to the max of each details quality, shadows, ...
the problems persist.. :o

What?! You've played the game 6 times?! Now I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person in this whole forum who played videogames once. Man, I'm starting to feel daunted by some of the people here. :(

Anyway, back to the question. Have you updated your video card driver? It might be able to solve that visual problem.

Oh by the way, my video card is the Geforce 6200 (not TurboCache) and I didn't face any such visual problems when I've played the game with my settings of high details and mesh, low shadows and medium effects. Plus no Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering. :)

Noo! I'm not that crazy! ;) I just did the last mission for 6 times (actually seven and again the option didn't appeared!) ... if I had more time I would finish each game at least twice ! :p

What do antialiasing and anisotropic filter do ? changing them could be of any help?

Heh heh. Misunderstood your sentence. My honest apologies. Anyway, it would be crazy to replay the same game more than once, in my opinion. :D

Anti-Aliasing helps to smoothen out rough edges in the game giving them a more smooth surface. As for Anisotropic Filtering, they clean up the textures of the game.

Another thing to note is V-Sync. According to Digital Silence, V-Sync is basically the synchronizing of buffer swaps with your monitor's refresh rate. With VSYNC enabled, frame rates will not exceed the monitor's current refresh rate for that particular resolution. For example, if your monitor is using a refresh rate of 85Hz at 800x600, with VSYNC enabled, you will theoretically never exceed 85fps. So the refresh rate creates an artificial barrier that limits the frame rate.

Edit: V-Sync will also remove some of the flickering you will encounter when playing the game. Anyway, I forgot to mention that if you activate Anti-Aliasing (AA), Anisotropic Filtering (AF) and V-Sync, they will slow down the game considerably with better visuals. Unless your graphics card is high end, you can max them all out but if not, don't. But even if you utilise one of them, you will have to turn down the other settings.
