She takes my Aerie! This made me panic and I reloaded an autosave... is there any way to avoid losing my woman? She dropped all her stuff, so I'm assuming she didn't just go somewhere to wait for me.

Hmmm, that's the thing about vampires, isn't it? I suggest you start researching on vampirism. But first things first. Where's Bodhi when you lose Aerie?

Oh, are you saying she's a vampire? I just saw her walk off, so I didn't know she'd be converted.

I met Bodhi in the Graveyard district (Chapter 6) at night, and she knew about the romance between Aerie and I, and then took Aerie from me, followed by an attack of about five or six vampires.

What?! Bodhi must pay! I really don't know I've never done ch. 6 with a romance but I think that's what's happening.

I strongly suggest you go after them both (if you're ready...) and find out what's going on. Don't worry if you didn't see Aerie die she's probably still alive...

Is Minsc with you? How's he reacting?

Minsc is with me, but Aerie wasn't even hurt before being taken. I was in conversation with Bodhi, and then as soon as I clicked "End Dialogue" five or six vamps appeared and Aerie walked off, leaving her stuff. I'm guessing I can rescue her, but she's the one with my restoration spells and it's really a blow to the party. Wish Bodhi thought I was in love with Imoen.

This is really harsh. Aerie was actually "second-in-command" in my party. She had the third best armor class, the majority of my strong spells, and even Crom Faeyr. I don't even have another cleric, so I can't restore with anyone else...and I'm going against a whole lair of vampires. Egads.

don't worry,Aerie's not dead,though having only one cleric in a party(especially when the cleric's your romance) isn't very good.What you could do is get Viconia who is near the entrance to Bodhi's lair as a temporary replacement

Ok, I thank you all for the tips. I went and grabbed Jaheira before taking out Bodhi. Bodhi's place was pretty much a snap. I used about six restoration scrolls, but other than that I only really needed Death Spell. That cuts right through big groups of Vampires...even named ones.

Now I've finished the place, returned the elves' thingy, and talked to the Elven War Sage, who told me to go to the temple of Oghma. Now I'm at the temple and I can't find anyone who'll do anything about Aerie. Someone please, please, direct me in the right direction.

You need to either do the Umar hills quest, or if you did it, you need to go back to the ruined temple where the shade lord was. In the temple there is a statue of a woman holding out her arms. You need to place Aeries body and Bodhis heart in the statue.

You need to get the book with the longest name from a chest in the small room before going to the temple of Oghma.The room is in the second level of Bodhi's lair

I didn't get it, Bodhi never got Jaheira to turn.

I just opened my can of whopar$e and Bodhi heart pop out.

Or I had four skeleton warriors hidden around the corner for a good old fashion ambush.

Notice Aerie still had her stutter even when she was a vampire?

this about bodhi taking away aerie happens to anyone you are in a romans with at the moment. she will turn her into a vampire and you must slay her. after you need to take her and bodhis black hart to the womanstatue in the umar hills forrest(temple ruin). Put the hart and aeries body there and she will be restored and very tankful.

even though my character is a male, if you play as a female it takes away your male romance aswell.

I've never played with female character, but since Anomen is the only one available for female romances...

Why would anyone want to resurrect the arrogant bastard, even if he is your loved one... Loyalty and love go hand-by-hand but there are some exceptions, Anomen is one of them...
