I am romancing the great J and she states het armour is neediing cleaning - I can tell her its well worn and flirt (she says my sliver tongue is a bit blunt or tell her I will buy her the best armour in Amn and hope she is feeling better - dialogue just goes with lets carry on she is fine - I can't get the lovetalk CLUAConsole indicator to work - what is the best to say to progress with J

First of all I must congratulate you on your romance choice. Jaheira is by far the hottest of the three romance choices....(for males)...don't even know why some people bother with Viconia or Aerie????

As far as I can remember it doesn't really matter which one of the two dialogue options you choose.....usually the options are quite obvious...but sometimes there are two that sound pretty good...in that case I don't think it makes any difference....as long as you stay clear of the dialogue option that you know will break the romance up...I've successfully romanced Jaheira in four different games...the choices of different dialogues isn't really that hard...all you need is a bit of common sense.

As for getting the CluaConsole to work first of all you need to edit your Baldur.ini file (which I guess you have already done). As for the commands check the other topics with Jaheira...there is plenty of information on this subject out there....

My taste for Jaheira has been tainted back in BG 1, when she was really whining about my rep. once it went past 17 or so ... the taste still remains. On top of that, she has only just learned Khalid is dead, and already she falls into your arms. Just how much did she care about Khalid anyway???

I choose Vic. because I liked to cross that seemingly too big gap and reach out to her, to show her what life could be on the other side, a side she has always hated.

This is somewhat based on a saying that I believe originates from ancient China:

That saying sounds like something out of Star Wars....you know "who's the the biggest fool...the fool or the person who follows him"....seriously though I am willing to admit that Jaheira wasn't much in BG1...but the way she has improved for BG2...amazing!!!
Viconia doesn't even come within lightyears of her.....

I actually hit an annoying bug in the game. I've beaten it a couple of times with different characters and had enough of the the dialogues around Jaheira to resolve for the harper pin (this was before the patch though). However, once I found out that the way to resolve the romance was to let real time, not game time, pass to trigger the dialogue I ended up hitting a brick wall when it came to finishing off the romance. It is stuck in a dialogue loop a few dialogues after killing Dermin (I am only 2 or 3 dialogues away from completing the romance, which I discovered by using the cheats) and I am thinking it is because I need Terminsel (Elminster) to show up to give Jaheira the Harper Pin for the romance to finish naturally, but it has now been over 170 days and many, many hours later and Terminsel still won't show up. Anyone else have this problem? I've done just about everything else I can do in the game short of going to face off against Irenicus.

Cloudstone my suggestion to you is:

I do consider it cheating...but use the CLUAConsole to make Terminsel appear...I can't remember the exact command but search through the other Jaheira topics on the board....I posted it a couple of weeks ago...
