spoil me at the gate

Hullo. I remembre I used to play BG some time ago, but stopped (still don't know why) two years ago in the Cloakwood Forest. Now I'm back to the game, 've been playing for three days, and have the very same problem I would experience two years ago - they won't open the gate. I tried in Flamerule - try later, I do try in Marpenoth - come some other time. I do not feel like waiting any longer (killed all the monsters I did find), and, thus, came here to ask the MKOs: 'When do they open the gate?' Or, perhaps, I should do something to convince them to let me in. Argggggh. I'll go and finally kill the guard at Candleceep - they won't let me in, either.
One more thing. Could anyone link me to a list of quests, please? I want to see what I have missed. Thanks in advance.

You cannot re-enter Candlekeep before chapter6.
To get there you must do some quests in BG city first, which you can't enter before clearing the Cloakwood Mines.

Thanks. I've got to the mines only after you told me I still have to sweep one more location. Must had forgotten one must entre a site directly from a neighbouring facet.
More questions/ Things I could not perform:
1. Killed tasloi galore but found no cloak for Gurke.
2. Killed more than two dozen Wyverns but could not collect the prize.
3. Killed all the ogres my team could but apparently not the prim ones.
4. Found no Prism. Strange as it may seem, but still.
?. What happens if the team kills the guard at the gate to Candleceep?

1. Near the hunting lodge in the woods, I believe.
2. I think there's a Wyvern cave, with some more powerful wyverns that count to that.
4. Explore the area around the mines (on that map) thoroughly, he should be on there somewhere.

2.Each grown-up Wyvern should leave a head behind when killed. You have to take one of them to Bereghost temple to get the reward. The remaining heads can be sold to High Hedge (or better to Officer Vai if she's still in Bereghost).
3. Kill all ogres in the correct area. If you don't get the reward because of a bug you can just pickpocket it.
?. Doesn't change anything.

[/QUOTE]The half ogres you need to kill are in the Northern part of the map of the area two south and one west of Bergost. The Tasloi with the cloak are in the first cloakwood area, somewhere in the southeast quarter of the map.

Thanks a great lot. Thank yall. Love you!
I'm in the Undercity right now. Guess will finish the game to-day. You have been of great help.
As for the heads, I could find no way to receive the prize. This might come from the fact that I did try only the second time my team joined forces with Coran. Finally, he left them again, as I could not satisfy his desire. Don't know, really. All proper characters leave my heroes anyhow, so I ended up with five personae in the group. Missing the drow girl, as I have two priests only, and could use one more, for I did choose to employ no magus.
Just out of pure interest comes one more question. While in BG, some two thugs are kind enough to offer 40 bolts. But is there anybody kind enough to identify them. I have even tried the Hedge, but found absolutely no-one capable of telling me what they were. Of course, I could still use them, but I opted for selling them with profit, and was unable to. Is it a bug, or..?
