Okay, this is really bizarre...I encountered Irenicus in Hell, killed all his summoned minions, and wore Irenicus down to "near death" status. But I can't kill him. He dropped out of "slayer" mode and is just standing there, not moving or casting spells or anything. My part is hacking away at him, doing damage, but he isn't dying.

On a hunch I let him regenerate back to full health. He still doesn't move.

Am I overlooking something here? I dont recall anyone in the game telling me that there was some special thing I had to do in order to kill him.

Anyone have any thoughts? I wanna finish this damn game so I can get on with my life

Must be a bug you might have to reload.

All of the times that I have done the final batt., as soon as he changes back into his human form, it goes into a pre-generated sequence, and the game is over. sorry.

this s*** happens sometimes when there is a dialog "after death" Lavok is another bad ex.
sorry you will have to start over (just don't hope that your last save game was in act 3 )

You could always go back to the 'Final-Save' slot right?
