I am a long time GameBanshee visitor. I am more of a reader and rarely post in the forums...

Your World of Warcraft section (other than the news posts) is really out-of-date. I think the information you are providing is 'Beta'. Can we expect a update anytime soon?

Eventually, yes. There are just too many other games that need attention right now. I need to sneak in a couple of weeks sometime between games to give the site a proper update, and that isn't going to be happening for awhile unfortunately.

As a small suggestion Buck, I think it would be cool if you had like one specialist for each game you guys cover. Just to help out with the older games. Maybe you don't want to get into a bunch of management type stuff but it would be easier to keep things up to date if you had someone assigned to each game section. Some of the games don't need anyone assigned to them like old RPGs but some of the newer games still get updates here and there with expansions, patches, and the like.

Thanks for your reply. I think we can wait because I figure World of Warcraft is going to be around for a long, long time.

Believe me, I'd love to have more people creating content for the site. I've recruited at least 50 people since GameBanshee started, but there are only two of us that are actually publishing content right now (though we do have several excellent moderators that patrol these forums). Most people have no idea the amount of work it takes to create an annotated walkthrough for a game, and I usually never hear from them again once they get started. Or, in the case of MMORPGs, as soon as I get them signed up for a beta account or a free copy of the game, they lose interest in actually creating any content for it.

I will be making another request for editors in the near future, but right now I'm focused on getting caught up with various projects that have been pending for quite some time. I'll just have to add World of Warcraft to the list for now and work on it as soon as I am able.
