Hi.....I really hope this isn't a topic already cause I did a forum search and nothing showed so I went ahead with this post.

I recently started playing KOTOR II for PC cause xbox didn't have the mods pc does.....well this is my first time cheating for kotorII and I would like to know how excactly I could get the cheats option.....most of the post here only give half or very little details on how to do it.

Also I downloaded the Save game Editor and my attributes were set to 250 but when I equipped something they'd go to 0-8....I also did the INF for each of my allies but every once in awhile if i'm all LS or all DS they wouldn't be the same. Can someone explain why?

Also with the mods thing I don't know how to create an override folder or anything can someone also post a step by step on how to?

Well I can't help you with all your questions but I do know when you max out lightside or darkside, you get attribute bonus (depending on your class) and if your aatribute is already maxed out it will reset to zero and work its way up again.

Hi Darth_Juro

First off, make sure you have the latest version of KSE(Koto Savegame Editor):
http://www.starwarsknights.com/mtools/kse_333.zip

Here's an OverView Of KSE:
http://www.bloghotel.org/uploads/Furio_KSE-OverView.gif

Here's the procedure to edit a save, in general:
Start KSE, chose a save, chose what you want to Change/Add/Remove(look at the OverView), Change it, Click "Apply", then click "Commit Changes".

About the NPCs force alignements, they will change to DS/LS all the time, because you cheated & even then if you didn't that bug happens.

About the Override folder, just create a folder(like you normaly would) in your KotOR2's Directory and named it "Override". Thats where you will put MODED files from MODs(normaly with the MOD there is a "read me" file, make sure you follow what it says).

KotOR2's directory is where the game is installed, the default installation's location is here:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2

Or you can try to enable the in-game cheats, which is a bit complicated, but if you really want, ask me & i'll post my updated guide to enable the in-game cheats, although there is an outdated one floating around over here, somewhere...

Good Luck & Have Fun!
