Druid Grove Problem

My roommate is a 14th level druid who has completed the two tasks (kill netheril, rescue boy) but is not able to challenge the master. We have slept for some time, our reputation is in good standing, all recent patches are applied, and still we cannot challenge him.

When can he challenge for the grove, and what benefits come with the grove?

Something is wrong for you. Challenge should be issued before other stronghold quests, so you have somehow skipped it. I even wonder how you got other quests because the Spirit of Grove shouldn't appear before you win the duel. The boy's rescue quest should be the last one, you get the Golden Lion figurine and are ensured you wouldn't summoned more for a while (unless, as it'd appear in the diary, you would like to become the Archdruid or so; you'd never get a chance in SoA nevertheless

)

Thank you -- at least now we know the darn thing's broke. We had a little ceremony anyway and moved on.

Well, you shouldnt be able to get those Stronghold quests UNLESS u have won the challenge? Right? I Cant remember.. hehe.. but yeha.. I think you might already have do ne it... and have taken the status of Great Druid already.
