Please help with theives guild glitch?[Mybe spoilers?]

I got done with the boots quest and I want to do the ultamate heist.
I got around 2000 gold fenced and it says in the independent theiving that i got done with 800 gold fenced and nobody is sending me the message for the last quest.
Help me please and thank you.

Oh and i just killed jak without doing much and stole the shoes not going in the basment undercroft.
Is that why?

You're not the first who have this problem. I'm quoting Belthan's answer from the last thread about this subject..

Oh, and killing jak earlier is not the problem. I killed him too before I entered his basement. He was just SO annoying!
