Is there a new Fable coming out??? I'd be very happy if another one did come out. Well, will there be another one or not???

There is a Fable 2 in the making, but I'm not sure if they're going to make a Fable 3

Since Fable 2 is not released yet, there's no point in pondering for a Fable 3. Anyway, I don't think that Lionhead will straightaway jump to developing another Fable (assuming there is one) while Fable 2 is still a under development.

Does anyone know what year it is set it? In the E3 trailer it shows them having guns and junk and I dont know if I like that. I like the sword and arrows.

According to the News ID [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/gamebanshee-news-73/fable-2-milestone-report-77215.html"]here[/url], Fable 2 is set 500 years after Fable: The Lost Chapters so it comes as no surprise that guns will be added.

And I believe they are planning on addressing the issues of making it more open-ended and removing the excess load times (sorting out having heaps of small maps).

I knew it to They are adding Gunfire as i already prenounced in the fable 2 ideas and discussions they are going to make use of old 1744 Gunpowder guns
Yeah i think it is going to ruin the likes of fable.. the 1200 Year old albion is what makes the game so special..

What is Lionhead doing???? There going to totally blow the game!!!!!!!! If they put gund in fable it wont even be fable anymore!!!!! Weapons armor, magic, bows and arrows, thats the secret ingredient to fable not guns!!!!!! Well, i gues, that you cant hate it if you havent tried it, so its still worth a try

I agree on that man.. they are going to ruin it.. But mayB it will B getting more fun... eventhough they killed the spirit behind fable

Dream??

I wouldn't even want to dream about a fable with guns. The person who came up with the idea of guns in fable is a criminal (in my opinion). The guys over at Lionhead should start using their brains....

I agree, I really don't like the idea of guns in Fable, it just doesn't fit

Well, listen up ppl, u cant hate if you havent tried. Maybe Fable will be good with guns, just a lot more different. Although i do have this funny thought of putting the unreal tournament guns in Fable!!! LOL

We wil still try the game out though, and hope it's good.

And when the reviews are 1/10 we'll see lionheads sorry face then.

IMO, guns are the most distasteful thing to add to a video game that is based in a fantasy setting. Final Fantasy 8, I hated it. Dungeon Siege (yes, they had guns) didn't like it.

Fable, while a very cliche start, is a decent RPG as it is, and adding futuristic weapons, even if just a musket rifle, would ruin the name of the game for me.

for me as long as the guns shoot sort of like bows and there are no really lame things like automatic/semi it wont totaly ruin the game and i will still buy it

I don't mind guns in Fable 2. After all, the setting in Fable 2 seems to be at an era where guns are invented by then. Anyway, just as long as Lionhead know how to find a way to make guns as cool as the bows in Fable, I'm OK with it (like adding the augment ability in guns as an example).

Look we don't know yet how they're implementing the guns, so lets not judge lionhead yet. I think they should know that not everybody likes guns so it might be just an alternative for bows and swords. In fact I'd be more dissapointed if they'd make just another fable in a different environment. It is understandable that when when creating a sequel they want to implement lots of new stuff and just some of the old, like it should be. I really hope they make more dialogues and less fighting and maybe some alternative ways to complete missions. I'd like to see more depth in our character and in environment.

Wholly agree with you here, Masa. Its too early to judge as we have no idea what or how the game will look like. Looks like we'll have to wait a while before Lionhead decides to divulge more information.

But B honest the idea allone makes no sense... What makes fable special.. I ask u.. and i can probebly answer it to.. its the story and the equipment used.. the mages the Gallent knight the evil rough The choices to Be made..

Now so they are going to invert guns now to.. Nice so now ull get a armor so nice that ull look like collombus discovering america chewing on a patatoe..

I expect that if the new Fable 2 will include guns, the ESRB rating will go up to a higher age. My parents are really strikt about that but i don't let them see the rating. Fable: TLC was like 16+, i think now it will be rated M. Not fair for the youngsters that like to play Fable...
