I been reading quite a few posts lately that people are having trouble killing him, so I decided to kill him with my early party, and I must say he is as easy as whooping a kobald with a level 16 fighter. I didn't even hit him once. Buy 2 scrolls of protection from magic from adventure's mart, then make sure you have jaheira who can at least cast 1 fire elemental, got to revive the bastard, take AI of and have your elementals standing ready where he appears, before you give him his body parts cast those scrolls on your elementals, 2 or 1 will not matter, only the time it takes to kill him, if you want you can launch projectiles at him during the battlem, but either way, once you elemental is ready, let him out and move your party far away enough so his death cloud can't hit you but you can still hit him, and watch the elemental waste him as he trys to cast his spells which are all ineffective, muhahaha, after he turns in the demi lich, nothing but the fire elemental will hurt him if you have a low level party with no items that are +4 or higher. So have fun killing him, its incrediably easy this way.
