Buying a house in Anvil *SPOILER*

after buying the manor in anvil, i found the sealed portal thing in the basement but i cant open it. im assuming its part of a quest, but i dont know how to start it. does any one know how to open the portal or start the quest?

Sleep in the house. Resting might work as well. If nothing happens try doing so at night. That's what I did so I know for certain that works. This will get you started.
