Fighter's guild (possible spoiler)

First of all, if this topic is allready in another thread, please FORGIVE ME MODERATOR!!!
Ok, now going back to the question... I've allready reached the rank of master in the FG and I told Oreyn (check spelling) to focus both in recruits and contrats... so, the question is, this new recruits, are going to be just "watchable" characters, or I am actually be able of bringing them with me to do a mission or stuff..? And the last question, for the gates everywhere, am I going to be able of asking for help to this guild or any other (depending on which I am) for closing them or no... because in another game you could ask for help to diferent factions (balsdur's gate 2, coff, coff)....:laugh: :laugh:

There is nothing special you can do when you reach the top of any of the guilds. No help for the Gates either. Oh well...

That's a REAL shame, i was hoping a positive answer... If there was a MOD of this, I would "pay" for it.... well, maybe not pay but I'd really like to have it

Mage Guild Archmage has some Aprrentices you can take with you - I think only one at a time, but not sure cos never taken any - but since they are all low-level I imagine they would be pretty useless.

Oneof the official mods does give you that possibility, the THieves Den I think. I was told that it gives you a 'gang' that you can send to action, and they bring you loot, but even that ends there. That's pretty much it.
