ARGH!!! Frustrated as $@#!

Ok, so I love gamebanshee. I love their walkthroughs and find them always helpful.

I got Morrowind (GoTY ed.) a couple of weeks ago after playing it for a month at a friends. I love it, etc. So, I decide to join the Imperial Legion. Got stuck a little, but with a little help from my buddy, gamebanshee, I became the Imperial Dragon and all that.

Next, I decided to join House Redoran. It took me 1.5 HOURS to find her. With gamebanshee. But I found her, finally. Then after a while, I had to find Mathis Dalobar. It took me two days of playing to find him, at about 3 hours per day. It was ridiculous how long it took.

Now, I have to find the frickin Ashimanu egg mine. I already spent half of yesterday, and all of today looking for it. This is annoying me to no end. I have looked up and down the path between the south of Gnisis and Ald'ruun, and I can't find it. And the cliff racers AREN'T HELPING!!!

Can someone with Redoran or someone who knows where the egg mine is help me? I know that there is a Kagouti in the area as well that you kill for the next mission. I have found three, and looked in the areas where they are. Any help would be appreciated.

PS Also, is there a way to switch Houses once you belong to one? Like quit one and join the other? I have a theory where if you get booted out of one, you are free to join the others. My brother wants to know, as he's in Hlallu, and wants to join Tel'vanni.

I can't recall where the mine is exactly, but to answer your second question, no you can't join another house if you get booted from the one you are already in. The only way to do that is to cheat with the console, assuming you are on PC.

Due to a glitch in the game, however.....spoiler, highlight below:

There is a way to join House Hlaalu if you have already joined a house, but it doesn't work in reverse

How do you join Hlaalu as well as another?

been awhile since a did it but i think theres a mission where you have to kill orvas dren(duke drens brother) or something to take control of the cammona tong but you have the option not to, afterwords when you talk to duke dren you will be initiated in house hlaalu as a house brother and an advance from there
