Lost artifacts

I have a major problem. I left some artifact pieces on the floor of the blacksmith's. Now that I have the rest of the pieces when I go to retrieve them, they're gone.
Now I can't make the Equalizer or the "G" bow. I'm pretty pissed. I left the pieces there so I would know where they were when I needed them. Is there a glitch in the game I don't know about. Is there anyway for me to get them back?

Items left in the open will regularly "dissolve"... to represent a wandering creature finding it and taking it. To keep an item, you must place it within a chest or cabinet. (But not in a quest location... there are different maps for pre and post quest buildings.... if you place something in a chest before doing the quest, then do it, when you return to the area, your items may be gone)

Not a glitch. Items left 'out in the open' will dissapear over time... Put them in any container (chest, desk, barrel, etc.) in a handy location.
The only way would be through the CLUAConsole at this point.....

ShadowKeeper will easily fix this. Just put the pieces back into your inventory, and make like you found them there!

What is Shadowkeeper? How will it retreive my items??

Instead try CLUAConsole:CreateItem(".....")
Give me a little while and I will see if I can find what ("......") should be.What pieces are you missing?

Short Bow of Gesen = bow19,
The Equalizer = sw1h54
If you want them.....(use CLUAConsole:CreateItem('xxxxx') after you modify your Baldur.ini file with Cheats=1 (or Debug Mode=1) right after the Program Options line....

Thanx for all the help guys....the "Shadowkeeper" editor works great. It's exactly what I needed. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the same problem I had.
