Burning, exploding necromancer corpse flies into the air and enters the next rather dark cave...
Cave necromancer: "Nothing? Oh I guess me eyes are playing tricks on me"

Definately the paranoid elf, Glarthir I think his name is. When you try to convince him people aren't really following and he then naturally assumes you're in on the whole diabolical conspiracy and tries to kill you. He was fun, although following the farmers around watching their ridiculous harvesting/eating routines weren't. Especially when I learned afterwards, that I really didn't have to it to complete the quest.

Hi,
I agree with you... Glanthir was very silly for me. I have followed his "conspirators" and lose a lot of time for nothing ..... ARGH ....

I was doing the DB cleansing the sanctuary quest. i sneak attacked teneiva (spelling) while she was talking to the orc. She crumpled to the floor with an arrow in her back and hey says "Goodbye then" or something like that.
I also think that listening to people talk about what you have done. it makes me feel special lol.

I adore casting a destruction spell at an enemy and having them fly up into the air and burst apart. I think still the funniest part was right in the beginning, in the imperial sewers or whatever, when all the rats and a zombie ran at me. I zapped the zombie and he just burst apart, and his head just kept rolling... and rolling... and rolling...... hahahaha grotesque, but soooo funnyyyy!

I did the "A Brush With Death" quest and rescued Rythe Lythandas. After returning, I talked to his wife, Tivela. She was overjoyed to have her hubby back and said something gracious like "enjoy the hospitality of our home". But I guess it was late, because then immediately after I exited the dialog menu, she shouted, "Get OUT of here"! Now there's some lasting gratitude for you...

Sillyness in Oblivion realm
I had worked out the misc quest 'Imperial Corruption' back when I first started the game and I never got the 'quest completed' note, but wrote it off as over in my book.
Then one day I was closing an Oblivion gate and I was deep in one of those freaky cave/tunnel systems and I suddenly got ambushed by a human dude with a dagger.
Too stunned to block I staggered around while my brain tried to sort it out. I finally regained my composure and killed the bugger and then I got the 'Imperial Corruption: quest completed' note. It seems the guard I had gotten arrested had broken out and wanted revenge. On top of that he tracked me into Oblivion armed with a dagger!
But it gets better: I fought up to the Sigil Stone and closed the gate. As the firey portal collapsed the lifeless body of the corrupt Imperial tumbled out of the clear, blue sky and landed among some rocks nearby. Hilarious

The poor, widely feared NPCs that get slaughtered with a single Immolating Blast. The epic fight ends instantaneously

My Silliest moments:
1. I was doing the Leyawin Reccomendation quest, and when I got to the room where Dagail's father was and took the amulet, Kalthar came in. I was invisible, courtesy of Ghostwalk, and there was a Spriggan and Will o' wisp in there. Kalthar died of a Black Bear beating...
2. In the Paranoia quest, I had just received the List of Death. Right as Glarthis ended conversation, Dion walked by. I told him about the note, and walked up, and slaughtered Glarthir.

Silly guards...
I returned to Anvil after closing the nearby Oblivion gate and discovered a local guard swimming around the castle. He stopped to greet me and continued slowly swimming around.

I have three moments that immediately come up..
The first was a weird dialogue bug, where these two guards (who I think were the same NPC double-spawn possibly) were talking to each other, and they kept saying, "I don't know you and I don't want to know you." over and over to each other for the whole time I was in town. They didn't move or anything, just stand there saying it..
Another time was when Janus Hassildor stalked me for DAYS after I did a particular quest involving him. He showed up in a random Oblivion gate and was walking ON LAVA until he died. Then he showed up again in a random cave, in an Ayleid ruin... He would only say "Please, let us be alone" or something like that if I tried to talk to him.
Also, I had a mod that added pets. I had a pet huge rat that got killed by a magic spell in a fight, and then every time I zoned his dead body would appear at my feet.. like he was sleeping.

funniest moment
i was at the waterfront near the pirate boat. as i passed the boat 2 mythic dawn agents appear and start attacking everyone in sight. the good citizens of cyrodil, including heirynomous lex (spell), all the pirates, an imperial archer, a few theives guild members, and 2 random ppl all start attacking the mythic dawn agents untill they are all dead. then all the pirates start attacking heiryonomous lex (im assuming due to accidental attacks) and everyone else backs up lex until all the pirates are dead. and all i was trying to do was get to my waterfront shack to stash some loot, next thing i know im in the middle of a battle
the funniest part to me was the randomness of it all, being that i hadnt done anything with the main quest line in a while.

Yeah you sure encounter interesting and often funny things if you dont fast travel all the time, random or not
One episode of mine was when I was out riding on my bay horse at night, traveled along the road. Then suddenly I saw a shape in the distance on the left part of the raod. I climbed down of my horse and ran towards the thing, I then realized it was another bay horse, belonging to one of the patroling imperials. But there was one thing missing and that was the imperial himself. So I searched the area around my and his horse trying to find him, but nothing....
So oh well I thought, he may have died far out into the forest or smthi'n. I then continued my travel along the road on my sturdy bayer
Not long after I saw several bodies along the road, first an imp, one more, a wolf. Then i heard some distant sounds up a hill the road was laid on, sounded like metal against metal, so I continued upwards. It then so happened I saw the Imperial soldier fighting against a bandit and a warthog, all against eachother.
So stood there watching the match. Dont you think that piece of bacon won? The thing killed of the Imperial right after the Imperial himself took care of that bandit. Then the little piece of bacon saw red and headed in a certain direction.....ME! Lusty for more the little pigster attacked me, since he was so eager to fight I had to no choice but to fight back, that little thing ended up dead ofcourse baconised and bloody, I took his meat and continued towards Chorrol...satisfied by the funny and a bit silly encounter I just experienced

this story just jogged my memory of my favorite moment. I was out in the woods south of Leyawin and i found two imperial soldiers fighting a bandit and once they killed the bandit they turned on each other and sat there shooting eachother. naturally i stoood and watched. they had so many arrows in them by the time they were done it looked like they had acupuncture (spelling). the soldier who won suddenly turned in my direction and shot me. i checked my bounty and ii didn't have one. i thought maybe he might have misfired but he kept shooting. i cast chameleon and ran a cirle around him (large circle) and snuck up behind him and he was shooting the other dead soldier...
then i killed him. i thought that was funny.

Haha that was funny! Maybe the Imperial was a bandit in disguise?
