Actually my nickname has been seen in MIRC vampire chat rooms for many years now, I played a Toreador character in white wolf based rooms etc etc.

I now have the game and am playing out my actual MIRC character, including the char sheet as closely as the game allows etc, i wish there was more character customization options however, it would be nice to pick your own face :) .

Ive just entered Chinatown, i will not spoil anything in this post but im finding the games content incredible, im sick of seeing "so so" reviews on a game like this, the character background stories, dialogue, and etc, make up for the glitchy control. yes, the control sucks at times (no pun intended) but im blown away by this game, I am also playing Oblivion and although that game suprasses vampire in Tech standards, the roleplay and just general attitudes of the characters and the goth punk world is amazing, the atmopshere is great.

Bout time i played this, i plan on doing a Nossie character next time i play thru, yeah ill play this more than one time i think.... :) .

Peace all, tips appreciated for making a good Toreador w/way the actual videogame works.

If i had to rate this game id say a 9.5 at least for the depth, who cares about a few wall glitches.....no game ive seen has this kind of subject matter in it done w/the amount of class the game presents.

Welcome to the board, ratsucker! ;)

In reguards to choosing your face, you can pick any NPC in the game and make it your PC skin.

Secondly even though you are a Torrie, it is universally accepted that the Malk character must be played.
The Malk arguable has the best dialogue of any character ever written, if you are set on a Nossie (the second most unique, play through) as a second play through you will be losing out if you don't try a Malk as your 3rd time. :)

Only other major tip, are you aaware of the Unofficial patches (currently 2.5) that fix most of the existing bugs after the Official 1.2 patch?

The unofficial patches should work with any version of the game, whether it is direct download or from a CD. The only thing you have to make sure you do is install the official 1.2 patch before you install whichever unofficial patch version you choose to install.

Yeah the LoneWolf ending is quite good and the Cam ending is kinda nice since it gives a Nod to a very famous movie ending from 1981.

And all of the clans.

...

Twice, one for each gender.

...

Well OK, three times, to refine your XP allocation and try out some variations
