Ok, my guy is married to one woman already in Bowerstone. I want him to be mayor later on though but I read in a FAQ that I should hold off on marrying someone in that town and marry Lady Grey later to become Mayor.

So, my question is, do I have to divorce my current wife to become mayor? Or can I keep her? And I know there's one Demon Door that requires you to be married to Grey for it to open. Is whats inside it important?

If you want to become mayor i suggest you expose Lady Grey for murder on her sister. Then the guards with ask you to become mayor of bowerstone. the weapons behind the demon door in grey house only has a legendary axe that isnt that good so i would expose her.
