Please help! i've been trying to solve this problem for so many times. i'm playing Vampire bloodlines. My games crashes every time i'm trying to get back to Santa monica from downtown. I tried to use both taxi and sewers, but neither worked. I have enough memory on the computer and ATI radeon grafic card. the game is patched. please help me! i love this game and want to finish it!

thank you

Have you been listening to the music tracks with Windows Media Player?

Is this the first time you played Bloodlines?
If not did you do anything different this time?

Why are you going to Santa Monica, what are you showing as quest?

I thought you had to be a Nossie to use the sewers?

What patch(s) are you using, Official 1.2, Unofficial 2.5 or both?

What kinda of ATI and what drivers?
Pc or Laptop?

hi this is the first time i'm playing the Bloodlines. i've tried to reinstall the game and play it as the different characters, but it's not helping much.

I need to get back to Santa monica because I have to get to the ship Elizabeth and get that artefact for Prince.

As for using sewers everybody can do it. I had a problem entering Empire hotel and was forced touse the sewers in order to get in there.

I use to shut all the backgrounds programs.
My computer (PC) is Microsoft XP, Pentium 4, CPU 1.80 GHz, 1.82 GHz, 256MB ram. Grafic card: hightech excalibur Radeon (ATI) 95550SE

the game is patched with 2.1 and 2.5 patches

I can't find the minimum specs atm, but your system is on the borderline.

Do you know how to check the size of your Pagefile?
It's probably on the C:\ drive, you should see a file called pagefile.sys, what is the size?

Also what ATI drivers are you using?
Have you heard of Omega Drivers?
Do you know what sound card or onboard Sound chip and drivers (if any) on your PC?
What resolution are you using. 800 x 600?
Do you know your monitor refresh rate?

You can try a couple of things, in the Options Menu try turning off Enviromental Sound.
You proabaly will need to change the size of your pagefile.sys to at least 1.5 gig, if you have that much room available on your harddrive
