Well, I've killed the guardian on the Air and Earth nodes. Are there any safe places to rest. Or do i have to leave the nodes and go back up to rest?

There's nowhere safe to rest there. You can save and reload until you rest without getting an encounter, but that's it.

Elemental Nodes????
