What is the difference between different types of arrows? Glass, silver, chitin, etc.

Cost, weight, what they can hit, and possibly damage.

Does the type of arrows interfere in the distance they can hit?

Not sure about damage, plus enchantability.
I think silver arrows do double damage against werewolves...

I find silver arrows to hit more accurately and do more damage than either chitin or bonemold....
In fact, they are my favourite 'everyday arrow.'
