Did you modify your baldur.ini file?

Under 'Program Options' line in baldur.ini put 'Cheats=1' (no quotes).
when you're at the main game screen press ctrl+shift. Enter CLUAConsole:CreateItem('itemxx') or go to http://sages/ign.com.

Correction Antares ! The one you told Silverblade is usable only for BG1 game, as for BG2 you must put : Debug Mode=1 under the Program Options line. And to access the CLUAConsole you must press Ctrl+Space in the game.

Console Cheats (Must be entered exactly as shown):

XP For Your Group
CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("XP amount here") press enter to activate. Note the XP Cap in BG2 is 2,950,000--do not use commas in the XP amount.

Gold
CLUAConsole:AddGold("Amount of gold here") press enter to activate. Note, as in the XP amount-DO NOT USE COMMAS!

NOTE: You can give XP to a single or all party members. Click once on the character you wish to give xp to and then enter the XP cheat while their portrait is highlighted. To give all party members XP click the little square box in the lower right of you display and you will see all your characters portraits highlighted. Open the console and enter the code.

Create Items
CLUAConsole:CreateItem("item code here",quantity here) then press enter. No commas in the quantity #.

Here is an example using the identify scroll code.

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("scrl75",100)

This will place 100 Identify scrolls in your lead characters pack. Note that any magical items you create need to be identified before you get the benefits of using them.

Kid01; True.... From now on I'll just give the link (if I can get THAT right!). Image

None of that works. Can other ideas?

Did you try the link? It is fully (and better than I can) explained there.

If you have, and followed all the instructions, then you've done or are doing something wrong. I've used this in both BG's and the only time I have a problem is when I do it wrong... Image

EDIT: Also, everything is case sensitive and must be typed exactly as shown!!!!

I'll try to help in layman terms.

1. Go to your program files, select the folder Black Isle.
2.Select BGII-SoA and look for a notebook with a gear on it named baldur.
3.This is optional> make a copy of the notebook and store it (my documents or Mps).
4.Now open the notebook (if it ask what with use your notepad).
5.You should see [Program Options] now click behind [Program Options] and hit enter. Type in Debug Mode=1
6. Click file in the top left corner and hit save. Close that window (If it ask do you want to save changes hit yes) and then close the rest of the windows that are open.
7.Start BGII and begin your game. Now press Ctrl and the Space bar at the same time. A small dialog box should appear at the bottom of the screen.(If not make sure you didn't just pause the game instead. You have got to hit them both at the same time).
8.If CLUAConsole: is not in the dialog box type it in. You can now add what you want.
9.CLUAConsole:CreateItem("bow18")
press enter and you will have a shortbow+2 in your inventory

Correction to line 9. On some computers you might have to use CLUAConsole:CreateItem('bow18')

Try both one should work for you.
