Amulet of Power SPOILERS
Is there a way to join the vampires and still get the amulet of power? Via killing Aran Linvail in the eventual quest. I am playing an evil mage/thief and have never joined with the vampires so I would like to experience their quests. Thank you in advance...

Nah the guy is pansy.
His proficiency in both weapons is weak, his spell list is level 7 and below that are too mixed to sufficiently reduce his disadvantages and his armor is acceptable for both mage and thievery but he isn't anything special concerning AC.
Edwin and Valygar combined would be able to have the opportunity of seriously end his life.
