Help with Shadow Ruins please

I have a lv 24 adept/fighter/maurader/paladin/deathlord and I'm not sure what is the next step. I've gotten the shadow sword, put it on the statue, followed Lord Kingston, dropped on to the platform, activated the rune and the exit in the main room now shows two runes lit up. Going through the shadow portals in the same order again just dropped me back on the same platform, just on the ground now and already lit up. Going through the shadow portals in a different order doesn't seem to make any difference, neither does clicking the rune on and off. What do you have to do to get the last two runes lit up on the exit? The walkthrough isn't very clear about this. It just says you have to have all four lit up.

Thanks for the help
Chris H.

Edit, playing the CE version

We divided the Shadow Ruins into six parts: the hub area where you start out, four areas where you activate rune glyphs, and the final area where you fight the boss. It sounds like you need to go to two more rune glyph areas.

Ok, I've gotten the tower area done, I did that first, then did the Kingston area, after reading your message, found my way back to the hub and did the stones area. On the walkthrough on the hub, the exit labeled E is suppose to lead to the wind area but it leads me to a small room with a port right in front of me, going through that leads to another little room just like it and I can get through either 3 or 4 of these little rooms, but the last one just leads back to itself. I can't can't seem to get past the last one. It's just an endless loop. I can run back to the main hub area but I can't find any kind of switch to get to this last area.

Just to see if I had screwed up something on the way I took my war witch into this dungeon and I got her to the same point. They both have 3 or the runes lit up and both are running into this endless treadmill trying to get to the wind area. Just to see if it made a difference with the WW char, I tried to do the wind area before doing kingston, but I still couldn't get through, so I did the kingston bit and tried again. Still no luck. Any clues as to how to get through to this last area?

Thanks for the help, Chris H.

When you first enter the small room with portal on each end and pictures on the wall, it should be obvious to you to follow the picture of a knight pointing with his sword. After getting to the shadow island, go W S N S E
