I bought the collector's edition recently and installed it. I then realised that after installing the collector's edition cd my system slowed at bootup and i cannot really access to the link it created in start/program/blackisle... If i attempt to do so the system hangs! During the process of installing the collector's edition cd, it seemed to install to quickly ( I am not sure if it did complete its installation as there was no messages indicating so). Any idea??

I suggest ignoring the installation buisness and just install the two necessary override files manually by copying them into your override folder.

Just download the files from this site and the readme.txt should explain the rest.

Many thanks Thomas, appreciate your reply I am still curious whuy the problem persist though as my OS is perfectly stable with no rubbish installled and checked cleanly for any major errors.

The progam icons that the bonus CDs put in your start menu don't do anything on my computer either. Don't worry they are installed properly.

The problem is that if I go to that link my system just hang and nothing will response except the reset switch on my pc! BTW, Thomas, wonder if you have the full address to the site that holds the caps remover? I found the site but was able to find only the version use, to remove the BG and Tales of the Sword Coast but not the one for BG2!
